Hey neighbours,
are you using the long weekend to tackle that long-over due reno? Or do you have a project you'd love to do in your home or garden but don't know where to start?

The experts at Resene are offering to help answer all your painting and decorating questions. Whether it's how to choose the right type of paint to cover a stain, how to go about planning a mural, or how long you really need to spend on sanding down that woodwork, they're happy to help.

Send us your question at homed@stuff.co.nz or leave it in the comments and we'll put the best questions to the Resene team (please note: we may not be able to answer every single question). The answers will be published in an article on Stuff ahead of the long weekend.

If you don't want us to use your comment or name on Stuff, please mention that in your post.

Maungaraki Richmond Scouts are holding their Fifth annual 'Breakfast on the Green' fundraiser, Sunday 14 March 2021, 9:30 to 12:30.
Come to the green space on Dowse Drive across from the Maungaraki shops for pancakes, sausages and bacon. We'll have fresh lemonade and homemade baked goods. More than 20 families have contributed to a HUGE rummage sale featuring toys, books, housewares, kids clothing and much more. There will be facepainting and older scouts are organising games for younger children.
Weather forecast is looking great, so bring the kids and come to the Maungaraki Green on Sunday morning for food, fun and to see what Scouting is all about.

Queen Victoria in 1863 a widow, was introduced to 14 Maori warriors and partners by Rev Wm Jenkins who appears to have taken the New Zealanders to encourage people to come to our country. The Queen realized one lady was pregnant and took her under her wing. The baby was born Albert Victor Pomare 1863, and the Queen gave him a christening gown and set.
She paid for his education.
