Dementia Project Specialist Caroline Bartle and Senior Architect Sara McCunnie, who describe themselves as ‘dementia nerds’, revealed their shared passion for their subject as part of Alzheimer’s Awareness month.

Caroline was interviewed by Matty McLean on TVNZ Breakfast last week to discuss the myRyman Life dementia care model and ways in which people can take steps to avoid or delay the onset of dementia.

On person said they saw a guy in a van pick it up and take it away in a van probably between 9.30-10am. There have been no cats handed into any vets or the SPCA and he is microchiped but no word so far. If you know anything at all please contact me on 021 021 0261 8903. "I managed to get some birdie time yesterday at Silverstream just in time before the wet weather set in! Spent a bit of time chasing an elusive kōtare but no shots unfortunately! I did get close to a few Goldfinches at one stage which is unusual as they are normally very skittish!
I discovered a shag high up in the trees near a playground too! A shame it was too dark to get a decent capture but I liked the shadow effect! Saw lots of ducks in the stream, I think that there were a couple of Australian Shovellers if I am not mistaken!
The first photos is of tui that I had earlier been stalking around my property. He had plenty to say to me...."
