Water heroes are people who are prepared. You may not have any control when it comes to a major earthquake and its impact on the region, but you do have control about how you will respond and how prepared you and your family are.
Let us know how you're going by filling in our quick quiz and you'll be in the draw to win a Weber Baby Q BBQ and an emergency water pack!
Competition closes 5pm, Monday 4 March 2019.

We’re celebrating biking in the Hutt, especially the fact that the number of people making their daily trips around our city and suburbs by bike is growing steadily.
Local bike retailers will be here, so it’s an opportunity to talk bikes with local experts. If you’re thinking of getting an e-bike or converting your regular bike to an e-bike, you can find out more.

All New Zealand police officers will receive new stab- and bullet-proof vests in a $20 million roll-out over the next three-and-a-half years.
The current vests - which were introduced in 2006 - are stab-proof, but special vests are worn by any officers involved in firearms call-outs.
They have passed their warranty, but remain "safe and fit for purpose", says Police Commissioner Mike Bush.
