If you are near or within 10 km of any other places, I can schedule your Lawns and/or gardens on the same day each fortnight, at a cheaper rate since travel costs will be less.
Give me a call and I can give you a quote based on full quality of service but much less travel cost

Date: Tuesday 12 February, at 7.30 pm.
Venue: Alicetown Community Centre, 38 Victoria Street, Alicetown, Lower Hutt.
We will show and talk about this documentary in two one-hour segments, over two consecutive Tuesdays (12 and 19 February)
This documentary shows beautiful solutions adopted by communities across a number of countries to some of the problems of industrial agriculture, fossil fuel consumption, and social and environmental degradation which have created our current climate emergency, and are rapidly putting the health and wellbeing of ourselves and all other species at risk.
The two halves of the documentary do not depend on each other – they just show different solutions to different parts of the problem. So, if you can only make one of the two evenings, you won’t be missing key arguments or threads, just some of the wonderful solutions shown.
You can see the official trailer for the documentary at www.youtube.com....
And you can indicate your interest or attendance on our Facebook page www.facebook.com...
Come along watch the film, share the group discussion and have a cup of tea and a biscuit.
Any questions please phone Juanita McKenzie on 021422542.

So instead of a plain ham and cheese sandwich on sliced bread, try folding slices of ham and cheese into wedges of crunchy baguette or a soft bap. Save time and stress by using Mainland’s convenient sliced cheese – available in Edam, Tasty, Colby and Swiss to suit your family’s taste.
Head to mainland.co.nz for some quick and easy cheesy ideas.

In discussion about the Heritage of the HUTT itself, mainly Petone. I was
stunned to learn that Petone Library [which I use often] is in the throws of plans to pull it down and for Urban Plus [HCC owned] to build a large residential 4 story complex, taking out the trees and carpark.
This followed on with 'near Pak n Save Petone' a 6 story Urban plus residential housing area to be built.
Happy to hear the Hutt is being proactive with housing for those who need it.....BUT this information had not been heard of by myself.
The saga of Oddfellows Hall Petone being pulled down, Heritage building but slipped thru the cracks.
10 people joined us, and great discussion....WHAT does a Heritage Policy contain...How old is a property, church, sport venue, archaeology, cemetery, architect design, river, the era, whats RMA, Historic Buildings state?
Go online to the city council District plan.
THAT is the question....what is the answer.
MOST interesting and informative.
Next week Wainuiomata is holding a session.

Consents for higher density housing such as town houses and apartments more than doubled last year. Do you think this is the answer to affordable homes in greater numbers?
