I'm not calling for a witch hunt against rabbit owners just simply asking for people to be on the lookout for rabbits during this time of year, domestic rabbits can not survive in the wild even if "wild" means roaming around in a suburb, they have no survival instincts when compared to wild rabbits and are dependent on people for survival
If you are getting a rabbit and are housing them outdoors make sure their hutch and run is secure so they can't dig out and that it isn't open to the air, we do after all have our native falcon and here in Naenae we've got one flying about, she dived at where I'd had my rabbits outside earlier that day one time, not to mention she attacked a duck on our front lawn, so yeah rabbit owners keep an eye and ear out for her too
Is their anyone out there who will take my budgies- my female is attacking her mate and hes now tail-less and shes drawing blood! She is a lively 4yr old and he is a flightless but loving 7yr old. Free, of course. Can anyone help?
