Hutt City Council
Hi: Have anyone noticed how the Hutt city council services are getting more inferior day by day. Now the council has and automated call answering service where you could be holding from 10 to 30 minutes ( my experience the last times I have called)
Some streets have had no street lights for over a month now, I have called about it 3 times during the last 3 weeks and have been told someone will contact me but nothing. Why are we getting an inferior service yet our rates keep going up?
Any thoughts anyone?
Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?
With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.
This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.

Public Transport fares face 70% increase..
Wellington region users says increases to public transport fares of more than 70 percent would be "ludicrous", and would lead to them working from home more often, or taking the car rather than the bus.
