Does anyone know where I can get a lot of pond goldfish for free or as cheap as possible in Lower Hutt?
I came home to find 13 out of my 24 pond fish deceased last night – I have no idea what has happened as I've never had any issues with them before.
They were all aged between 5 & 10 years, so possibly died of natural causes (as just the smallest & youngest are left). It just seems very odd they all went belly-up at the same time! It also could be that a cat had a swiping session. I thoroughly cleaned out the pond last night just to be safe and the 11 survivors are still okay today. If you have some small goldfish you are happy to let go free to a good home I can take them.
