The New Zealand King Salmon Co. Ltd has recalled a specific batch of its Southern Ocean brand New Zealand King Salmon Smoked Pieces and Regal Marlborough King Salmon brand Cold Smoked Salmon which may contain Listeria monocytogenes bacteria.
The affected batch is coded with M362D or M362N. The recall did not apply to any other Regal Marlborough or Southern Ocean brand products.
Consumers are being asked to check batch numbers and not consume the affected salmon, which was sold 200g and 500g vacuum packs.
The recall was a precautionary measure after test results for a single sample in the affected batch suggested it contained listeria. Read more here.

Yesterday I took my grandchildren for a scooter ride down to the park and we came across this drinking station. It has probably been here a while and I am the last to know about it, but on a hot day it was such a welcome sight. Big thank you to the Hutt City Council from myself and my grandchildren. Wainuiomata keeps on growing to the place we all have come to love.

The Wellington Phoenix came from behind to beat the Mariners on the weekend to extend their unbeaten record to eight games - their best ever run in their history. Saturday's game also saw our Kiwi A-League team play in front of โ10,186 spectators - their best crowd in recent years.
New coach Mark Rudan has been widely credited with rejuvenating the team - read his passionate post-game thoughts here.
Did you head along to the stadium to support the boys on the weekend?
Are you back on the bandwagon? Or did you never get off?
