These things usually take about 48mins of downtime for the camera to complete. It was during this moment I got to meet a Young Lady named Tania who was power walking towards Lower Hutt. After small introductions she handed me a pamphlet and gave a brief explanation of what it was all about, then continued on down the hill.
Reading the pamphlet gives a better picture of her story and what it is she is trying to achieve, heres a link:-

It didn't take long for her to come back the other way and we talked more about her goal. I admire people who try to improve themselves mentally and physically, I'm happy to support in anyway I can. Not only by a small donation but also to be there at some time of the day to cheer her on (I was thinking about walking by her side but I doubt I could keep up). That is a lot of walking up and down Wainuiomata Hill for 24 hours. So keep an eye out for her on the 15th Feb 2019, wave and voice your encouragement (psst drivers concentrate on the road).
BTW, here's the timelapse I did (note it's in 4K UHD)-
