The Hutt City Council is looking at regulating cat ownership. Cat curfews, limiting the number of cats per household, and compulsory desexing and microchipping are all on the table.
Do you think council regulation of cats is realistic?

He asked for help from some older teenage boys in school uniform. They beat him up and threatened him. Now this boy may of had some intellectual difficulties or he was younger than he looked which actually makes this abhorrent behaviour even worse. Thank you to the other young lad who knew this boy for helping me to get him home. This behaviour especially to those more vulnerable is disgusting so if you hear of this event from your kids please report it to the school so these young men can be dealt with. This happened along wise street by Pencarrow Crescent around 4pm. And I hope the boy who this happened to (who I won’t name) feels okay now and knows that most normal people would help him and it’s not normal to be attacked like this, he should feel safe in his own neighbourhood.
