These programmes support those who are wanting to embark on a journey of change. Kaitiaki - mentoring will provide opportunities for people to share their life skills, experience and knowledge with individuals/whānau/families who ask for support to develop skills in the area of home management, cooking and positive parenting practices.

She was a little vivacious and it could have suited Wellington in its quest for revitalisation.
But I must admit that after a couple of years she has proven a disaster. Her dour male opponents for the mayoralty at the last elections would probably have fared better.
The job has gotten the better of her because she was so utterly ill-prepared. And I believe the ship will never be righted.
Wellington city should be fast tracking towards one city for the region but the Wellington Mayor is unable and unwilling to spearhead such a move.
Porirua, Lower Hutt, Kapiti and Upper Hutt all have very capable Mayors but the more populous Wellington with its huge financial difficulties and multiple issues needs the most sharpest minded, bipartisan, fast-out-of- the-blocks Mayor of all. And it just hasn't got it.
