Traffic Management on Seaview 21 February – May 2022
As part of our work to protect our awa, we are duplicating a section of pipe from Barber Grove to the Seaview Wastewater Treatment Plant.
The first part of the project requires us dig a trench to install the new pipe. To do this we need to make the site safe with traffic management, which will add to your commute.
So, if you can, please avoid driving in the area and look at alternative routes or travel options.
Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?
With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.
This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.
