I don't know what to say but I saw 2 boxer dogs on my property today! One dog is light brown & another dog is dark brown!
Why are these dogs being free to walk around on street?

The sparrows were caught having a good old dust bath.
Mr Duck was out by himself and full of chatter as I walked by him.
Although it was still very cold, it was nice to feel the rays of the sun on me!

Maggie the Mannequin has proved a big hit over lockdown. She is to be found on the Western Hills in Lower Hutt.

Happy Father's Day to all the dads out there. Male paradise shelducks play a very active role in looking after their offspring and are famous for their pretend broken wing displays to lure predators away from their young.
Bison, orca and mammoths can all be found on Petone Beach, as locals unleash their pent-up creativity during lockdown.
It is also happening in another Lower Hutt suburb, Eastbourne.

These guys, with demonic red eyes and about two-thirds the size of a mallard, like to perch up trees to rest – they like nothing better than an almost horizontal branch or tree trunk stretched out over calm water for a siesta. It’s like they don’t like having wet feet. If I were a duck I would be a grey teal/tētē moroiti (Anas gracilis).
