Homeless man is earning some dough
Brian “Sooty” Wallace has a lot to thank Rishi Sharma for.
Domino’s franchisee Sharma was headed to work when he spotted a man using a discarded pizza box to ask for spare change.
Wallace caught his eye as he was using the back of a discarded Domino’s pizza box to ask passers-by on Kings Crescent if they had any spare change.
Stopping to offer Wallace a coffee and a hot meal, Sharma learned he had lost his job due to Covid-19 and was homeless.
Now they work together after Sharma offered him a job.
Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?
With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.
This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.
