Gala & Market Day
The annual Waimauku Lions Gala at the Waimauku Village shops will be on Sunday 28 March 2021, from 9am to 2pm. Come and enjoy this community event which will feature arts and craft stalls, carboot sales, a mini book fair, cake stall, sausage sizzle, popcorn, as well as a bouncy castle and pony rides (weather permitting). We are still looking for buskers and other entertainers on the day, so if you can sing, dance or juggle, please let us know! We have lots of stalls booked, and have room for some more. Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?
With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.
This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.

Event Sunday 1st December
Come to Glasgow park, Muriwai rd Sunday between 10am and 2pm , there are craft stalls , cakes, food and a sausage sizzle. There is also a dog agility course so bring your well behaved dog on a lead and have a go. There will also be a raffle . So bring plenty of cash and get your last minute Christmas gifts.
