They managed well, gathering around to listen, watch and interact with Sophia - they learnt about the different colours and textures of soils, what they feel like and the importance of healthy soils.
They were genuinely interested in what she had to say and talked about the experience with each other after the Zoom was over and we were out and about on an excursion.
It was a wonderful example of technology, technology use and lessons about the natural world working together to enhance our children's learning. Thank you so much Soilsafe Aotearoa!
