Will TCDC comply with new Government coastal hazard sea level rise guidelines which rule out these coastal locations?

Michael Moore has built an air conditioner out of a polystyrene box, computer fan, downpipe and power pack.

He places frozen water bottles into the box and the fan pushes the cool air out of the downpipe, cooling him down in no time.

Couple's victory after Waikato District Council responds to their fears

A couple who believe they live on one of Franklin's most dangerous roads have had their voices heard by Waikato District Council.

Sally and Steve Walters live on Ridge Road in Pokeno. They asked for signs to be erected to warn motorists of the S bend, the overall speed limit to be lowered and advisory speed signs placed at the sharp corners.

After contacting the council with their concerns, it has begun to address them.
