Talented web-designer back in NZ after Lockdown

Shirley from Kerikeri District

"I'm bunking school", he said one day.
"What classes are you missing today?", I asked.
"Art & Graphics mainly!"
"Art?" I said, "You love Art!"
"Frankly, Mum I get more Art done at home and I've got an assessment coming up."

"Because the teacher always asks me to help everyone else with their Art and I know Photoshop better than the teacher!"...

Our 2 year old beef-cross heifers are now at the home kill butcher and we have empty paddocks. We are looking for 3~5 beef or beef-cross calves to rear for the future.
Prefer polled beef as no horns to deal with, but will consider others. We have had both friesian and jersey cross, heifers and steers, but we are open to other options.
We can feed powdered milk for young calves, so age is not an issue if they are off their mums.
Not urgent, but would like something by July/August. Contact us if you have calves or will have an excess arriving soon.
We are just west of Whangarei, past Maungatapere.

There's just 2 days left in our Annual Plan feedback window! Please take the time to read the information at this link and give us your thoughts by 5:30pm on Thursday June 4.

We are seeking feedback on our Annual Plan 2020-21, which is about the changes we have made in response to COVID-19. The plan includes a proposal to reduce the overall General Rate rise to 2.2% (inflation), and provide $3m in targeted relief. We are also seeking extra funding from central government.

These measures are intended to soften the economic blow delivered by COVID-19, and provide extra support to the District as it works to recover.

Te Tohu Toi Tangata - Bachelor of Humanities

Meet Christina Nuku who graduated with majors in Indigenous Studies and Policy. Through Awanuiārangi, Christina experienced a 3-month exchange programme at the University of Northern British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada. She shares “the exchange connected me with the Nisga’a people, First Nations tribal systems, communities and hauora programmes. It informed my studies and opened my mind. It was a genuine privilege to connect with the tangata whenua there, and an opportunity I would never otherwise have had”

“The difference at Awanuiārangi is the whanaungatanga. Our kaiako cultivated a supportive and nurturing environment”. We are now taking enquiries for Semester 2.
