Plum City Re-Opened (after a five year break)
This week have been delighted to discover that Plum City has re-opened (after a 5 year break).
This is their Facebook page - www.facebook.com...
Very capably run by Bex Coddington, she has a beautiful array of yellow flesh nectarines, white flesh nectarines, black splendour plums, yellow flesh plums, peaches, apricots all $6/kg and - my all time favourite - plumcots (a plum and apricot cross) - think heaven dancing on your tongue - also at $6/kg!
And cherries 🍒 $16 a kg
Located at 9 Longlands Road East, just on the left after the Te Aute Road turn off heading towards Railway Road.
And the bonus is that Bex also has a fab coffee machine so you can get your Bay Espresso coffee fix and a cookie while you stock up on fruit.
There is Eftpos connected so you can just swipe and go!
Open everyday leading up to Christmas day opening at 8am-3.30pm.
Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?
With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.
This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.
Do you think this ban is reasonable?
