Plastic recycling ( or not)

Our local council is telling us to put all plastic, other than no 1 and 2 into our rubbish as it cannot be recycled anymore. I suggest we take it back to the retailers for them to dispose of. Maybe then, they will force their suppliers to use only recyclable plastic, or other materials.
