We have tried to persevere and problem solve for seven months to no avail.
The tabby cat is most in need of being rehomed as he is showing more signs of stress than the other one, so we would be willing to split them if needed.
We would love to see him/them go to a loving home free of other animals or young children.

Bowel cancer can strike at any age. Each year about 3,000 New Zealanders are diagnosed with the disease and more than 1,200 will die. That’s as many as breast and prostate cancer combined. But it is treatable – and beatable – if detected early enough. Check your symptoms

We have an Econoheat wall mounted heater have a slow burn at the switch part that we thankfully managed to catch just before it caught fire.
To be honest, we thought it was fire smell from outside as it was a cold night and all the chimney smoke is pretty strong.
The next morning, it was really strong and it still took us ages to identify where the smell was coming from.
Thankfully we found it - it was the wall-mounted heater. It was at the switch port where the timer and thermostat is. I see a number of those panel wall heaters are being recalled. I have not found if the EconoHeat heaters are having problems but thought I should let people know. Now might be a good time if a Reporter wants to investigate and try to warn people!
Does anyone know who to report this to?
Thanks.
