Fun family event on Thursday!
Hi neighbours! Come along on Thursday to one of the two sessions of family fun! It's designed mainly for primary school aged children, with plenty of fun for preschoolers also. Throw soft toys in the bucket, race hotwheels, pop balloons with darts and throw wet sponges at the superhero. Have a bite to eat, but leave time to redeem your reward tickets for a prize before the disco starts. Call into the church office for a colouring sheet beforehand if your child would like to enter that competition, and there's also prizes for costumes (nothing scary though, thanks!) More info on the flier.
Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?
With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.
This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.
Do you think this ban is reasonable?
