I am looking for someone to fill a commission only sales position. The person would work as a self-employed contractor and set their own hours.

The position has great potential for a good residual income. We have a number of marketing strategies that you can employ.

I am the owner of Video and Small Business Services, looking to help offline businesses get up and running with an online presence. For those who have a website and don't know how to use it effectively, we offer great marketing solutions. We also create mobile apps and many more products and services.

Anyone wanting to apply for the position, will be self-motivated, have plenty of initiative and a smart appearance, their own laptop or tablet, and their own vehicle. Sales experience is not a requirement but would be an advantage. Likewise, an understanding of how things work online would also be useful but not essential.

If this sounds like you, send your cv to ray@videoandsmallbusinessservices.com with a note telling me why you are the best person for the position. I will get back to successful applicants to arrange an interview.

This is for those of you who do this and I see plenty while out there driving. Please be responsible as you only have one life and so does everyone else on the road near you.

Beep beep..
'I have to get that, if I don't reply right now they may think I don't like them anymore' ' oh no what if they think I'm upset or mad with them?'
'If I don't reply they may never want talk to me again'. 'One text won't hurt, I should be ok to do this, just pray the next light is red... oh it's green'. 'Well no one is watching, it's just a quick text anyway'. 'Phew, done
Beep beep.. ding!
'Oh no a text and Facebook' 'if I don't reply fast they may think they have offended me or maybe they will go out without me' ...'I had better reply
And if I don't like the post someone just put up on FB then they may not like my post, I have to be liked.... it's so important!!'
'What!. My phone, where is it?? .. and why is everything so quiet?..Where am I? I have to like that post, it's really important!!'
'Why is everything so quiet?'
'Why are people rushing to my car?'
'Who is that on the ground?'
'Why is everything so quiet?'
'Why can I not feel my phone in my hand? I'm holding it but I can't click the like button
'Why is everything so quiet?'
'Why is it getting dark and it's morning? I'm going to be late for work
'Its so quiet here'
'It's only now that I realise that the likes are not important, the texts can wait and my friends will still have been my friends'
'Buts it's too late, I didn't see that truck coming, the like button was too important, the text I had to reply to took away my common sense'.
'If only I had waited, if only I had not been so worried about what others thought of me, if only I wasn't so concerned with everyone else then maybe I would have seen that truck and stopped in time..... if only'.......

A fake dog control officer is dishing out notices from a book of council forms that went missing in mysterious circumstances.

Several dog owners living in a rural Hawke's Bay area received the paperwork on Hastings District Council letterheads last week.

The notices, written by a Dog Control Officer named 'Sam', refer to breeds of dogs that the people do own and states that they were on the road and unregistered.

All of which is false. Hastings District Council would like to hear from anyone else who has received forms noted as being from the fictitious 'Sam'.

Hi there,
Well, I have a new one for you. My work desk at home is in a lovely sunny spot. Papers sometimes sit in a 'same spot' for a long long time! Because it is is a sunny spot, I have a little mirror on a stand there (great in the sun as I can see what the hang I am doing with those tweesers and mascara!) ... I picked up a little booklet made of paper that has been on the 'to do ' list for far too long and I noticed it had a brown mark...didn't think anything of it, till a few days later I looked at it properly and it is a burn mark!! I looked at it a while, said to my husband, "hey does this look like a burn mark to you?" He said, "Definitely".....hmmmm I thought a while and then I reckon it was the mirror that has two sides possibly tilting with the direct sun on it, and burning the paper. Far fetched?? Dunno but seems to be the only thing that makes any sense...moved mirror to less sunny spot and will bring it out when I need it. ...Imgaine that, fire started my make up mirror!! YIKES. I doubt anyone else has their mirror on their desk, but maybe you have one in the sun... just thought I should let you know so you don''t make my mistake. Great weekend out there, have a good one everyone.
