Although at the foot of the street, it is feasible there may be delays to vehicles using Alma Street and those parking in the riverside carpark adjacent to Novotel and SkyCity.
The job will commence at 9am, and is expected to take most of the working day.
St John has always had a strong community presence in Hamilton which has recently increased thanks to the opening of a new opportunity shop in Frankton. The local community has rallied behind this venture, supporting it with donations and shop fittings.

Proceeds from items sold in the shop will be used to support St John emergency ambulance services and community programmes such as Health Shuttles, Caring Caller and St John Youth programmes. St John Opportunity Shop is currently recruiting volunteers and seeking donations of items that can be sold in the shop. Donations can be dropped off at 1 Rawhiti Street, Frankton.
