Brownie Treat Box for Mother's Day?
Another brilliant brownie from Willow Cake Bar to celebrate the mother in your life and all the people who are the epitome of the love and nurturing character of a mum. The brownies can be ordered online at www.willowcakebar.nz... and will be delivered to your (or mum's) doorstep (anywhere in New Zealand) on 06 May 2022, just in time for Mother's Day a couple of days later. Alternatively, for those in Hamilton, you can arrange to pick up your brownie on Saturday (07 May 2022), the day before Mother's Day from the kitchen at Grey Street.
This is a specially designed Strawberry White Chocolate Brownie that features their signature fudgy brownie base along with dried strawberry pieces and white chocolate chunks which have been topped off with a handmade shortbread biscuit fondant topper with sprinkles, rose petals and handmade heart sprinkles.
Poll: Do you think this was the right decision?
Hamilton City Council is defending a $60,000 spend on a flood of water management PR featuring a TV personality as residents face huge rates rises.
At a time of council cash constraints, Te Radar - real name Andrew Lumsden - catches the eye on the council’s Facebook page, where he currently features in three “explainer” video clips about Hamilton’s water services.
Do you think this was the right decision? Tell us your reasons in the comments (adding NFP if you don't want your words used in print).

Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?
With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.
This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.
