My daughter is searching for a rental. Her family is made up of herself her 8 year old daughter, son 20, son22 and his wife 21 plus their 3month old baby girl. So clearly a multi generational home. They also have two papillons both male both fixed and both tiny (cats laugh at them regularly) she has really good references having lived in her last rental for eight years and moving only because the home has been sold. She is looking for a four to five bedroom home which is available for long term rental. She will consider anything anywhere in the Hamilton area but for schooling reasons would prefer a home around the Fairfield chedworth chartwell area if at all possible. Thanks.

Are you going out of your way to collect plastic bags before they become illegal in NZ? Some Kiwis have admitted they are stockpiling bags before they can no longer get them from supermarkets and petrol stations.
It's been noticed that some customers have been taking plastic bags for things like single chocolate bars and drinks "to save up".
Do you find plastic bags handy for bin liners? What eco-friendly tips and alternatives to plastic can you share with your neighbours? Leave a reply to share your thoughts.

I am an approved AFB inspector, member of the Waikato Domestic Beekeepers Association and Apiculture New Zealand who has taken up beekeeping as a hobby in Tamahere, where we have room for bees to flourish.
Please call me on 021964000 any time if you need help with a bee swarm.
When swarming bees are relatively harmless (they generally will not sting you if you don't mess with them), as all they want to do is find a new home. They will settle in one spot for up to 24 hours and may move on if they can't find what they need, so time is critical to give them a hive to settle into. We don't want them living wild (not in a hive) as this can result in the death of these bees due to varroa mites or AFB or other disease issues. Also wild bees can infect other bees and are a threat to bees looked after in hives by responsible beekeepers.

I’ve experienced this many times and today it was a close encounter, so thought of posting it. People often change lanes when just exiting the roundabout, which could be very dangerous. As I was standing on the Gordonton Rd(left lane) waiting to turn left towards Pardoa Blvd, I saw a car on the inner lane of the roundabout giving left indicator to turn/exit towards the Pardoa Blvd. As there are two lanes exiting the roundabout and no one was on the outer lane, I decided to take left. To my surprise that guy changed his lane at that moment and came right in front of me. I had to apply brakes to avoid the accident. On top of that he honked at me. I hope he understands his mistake.
I believe we not only need to know the rules but to understand people’s ignorance about the rules too...
