WORLD RELIGIONS SERIES: EarthDiverse is pleased to announce that the Term 2 course offering in this series will focus on 'Islam'. Learn about the history and development of the Islamic faith, the Life of the Prophet, its Sacred Texts, central concepts, beliefs and practices, and Muslim celebrations and commemorations, all from an anthropological/objective point of view. Term 2 classes on Islam are offered in Te Awamutu on Wednesday evenings (4 bi-weekly sessions) and Hamilton on Thursday evenings (8 weekly sessions) beginning the week of Monday 4 May 2020. At a time of council cash constraints, Te Radar - real name Andrew Lumsden - catches the eye on the council’s Facebook page, where he currently features in three “explainer” video clips about Hamilton’s water services.
