(They will know who they are. Sadly, I didn`t get their names). They supported my elderly friend until I arrived, assisted me in trying to get him into my car then waited until the ambulance arrived. I work for a resthome and once a week we (gingerly) pile in the van and go for a drive. We are limited to approx. 1.5 to 2 hours total and depart from Hillcrest area... the residents are mostly dependent on walking aides so they don’t leave the van. Whilst they are just happy to get out it is nice to take them somewhere scenic... I’m thinking places with nice gardens, lake/river views etc. however need to keep in mind they’ll be viewing from their seats! Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
