Submit your entry in the 2019 Resene Upcycling Awards by sharing your upcycled masterpiece with your neighbours. Of course, there are goodies to be won including four prizes up for grabs worth $500 (plus spot prizes). Former Afghan interpreters in New Zealand are struggling to cope with the after-effects of war.
While nightmares and panic attacks keep some from sleeping, others rely on alcohol to put themselves to sleep.
These former Afghan interpreters, awarded medals for serving with Kiwi troops, are desperate for support, but they don't qualify as Kiwi veterans and can therefore not access funded counselling and medicines.

It still runs well and has coped brilliantly with my commute to Te Awamutu every day. It is still comfortable to drive and sit in and is easy to handle. Toyotas go on and on and 200km on this engine means it should have a few years left in it yet. $500, but will negotiate.

It's a cloudy Hamilton day and it just started raining here.
Time to sit back and enjoy a cartoon.
