This month is all about supporting our young people, to encourage and empower them to not only be the change-makers and community builders of tomorrow but also the best versions of themselves. To listen to their perspective and remember that it’s not just about what we can teach them, but what lessons they can teach us. After all, the recipe for creating healthy, happy children includes a lot of the same ingredients for building safer, more resilient and connected communities.

I was prepared to pay courier but it was going to cost $4.50 for the bag plus $3.70 cos its rural and $3.50 for a courier delivery, so $11.70. The problem as i see it is that you have to pay for a service that you might not get!!! And then, you will never know if the package gets there on time, so in affect you are paying the extra, in this case $3.50, for a POSSIBILITY of getting there in 1-2 days, so I said, 'You are saying that I am paying for something that might not happen' (ie delivery before the weekend) and he said yes that is how it always is with nzpost-they hope to get it there but no guarantees to which I replied, 'why am i paying for something you cannot promise me will happen?'
What a rip off!!!

The Roaming Giant, in Claudelands, and The Wayward Pigeon in Hamilton north, have been bought by Wellington Hospitality Group.
The venues are currently under the Lawrenson Group - founder John Lawrenson said he didn't intend to sell, but the offer was too good to turn down.
This is the first time the Wellington Hospitality Group has bought outside the city, head of marketing Joe Cottier said.
The new owners will take over from Monday, May 13.
