|feeling insecure and vulnerable in one of Hamilton’s “bad neighbourhoods” after police cut down her wire fence chasing suspected robbers|.

More than four months after the incident the woman, who mostly lives by herself, says she is “disgusted with the police” and their lack of action - especially as her section backs onto a gully often used as a thoroughfare for people up to no good.

In a strange twist, police contacted her son about the repairs only hours after being approached by the Waikato Times for comment.

Winter is a great time to sell your home! Despite its reputation for being a quiet season for selling, there are immense benefits to listing your property in the cooler months.

There’s less competition with fewer listings. Data released by The Real Estate Institute of New Zealand showed the correlation between lower listing numbers and higher average views on listings. The number of buyers searching online remains steady year-round. That means the same number of buyers are looking in winter, just with less inventory to view.

Don't wait until Spring when an influx of properties hits the market. Contact us today to arrange a property appraisal and get your house listed now while capitalising on less competition! 021796033

Saturday 6 July 2024, 10:30am-1:30pm.

WHERE: Waiwhakareke Natural Heritage Park, Baverstock Road gate, on the way to the Hamilton Zoo. Please note that this is an updated gate entrance (as we will no longer enter the park from the Rotokauri Rd gate, as previously advertised).

Bring a spade, water, gardening gloves and your gumboots! (we may have some extra spades available).
