Publisher David Hedley, owner of the photographic collection, which was first exhibited in 1990 at Carly Simon’s River Run Gallery in New York, will share the epic story of Michael Cooper and how the associated book and exhibition came to be.

Event manager Michael Jacques, said the decision to cancel was disappointing, especially for the runners who had been training, but they needed to turn their attention to the 2021 event.
The 2250 registered runners would not be receiving a refund, but would be able to enter for free next year.
Jacques said the decision to cancel was "especially gutting" as it was the 35th anniversary of the marathon, which is the longest running running event in Wellington.
