Learn from my experience with Miele vacuum cleaner. It could save you having to buy a new one. My Miele suddenly stopped working and the verdict was that dust had got into the motor and it heated up and then cut out. The machine was only 18 months old and under guarantee......I thought.

I was told by the technicians at Newbolds to always use the Miele bags. The cheaper ones are thinner and when the bag is put in the machine often the hole into the hose is only half open because the lighter plastic doesnt hold in place very well. When the lid is closed you dont notice that a lot of the dust will now be going into the machine, not the bag.
I now have to pay for repairs because if you dont use Miele bags it is not covered by the guarantee. I must say that Farmers gave me excellent service and did their best to get a better outcome. These modern machines seem to need more tender care, unlike the trusty old Electroluxes.

Volunteers make all the difference - Wheels needs you!

'Wheels at Wairarapa' is going to be a stunner of an event, so how about volunteering?

You don’t need to be into cars, trucks or machines. You just have to be helpful, energetic and friendly and be prepared to do shifts over the three days. There is set up and pack down work to do as well.

Each volunteer receives a free T-shirt, cap and drink/snacks for their minimum of two days work.

Volunteers are key to making events run smoothly and provide a warm welcome to many people attending from outside our region.

The festival is fun for the whole family-friendly over Waitangi Weekend with entertainment, food and drinks on offer.

Cars, bikes, trucks, agricultural and contractors equipment, and even a team of Clydesdale horses with rides available! Get up close to machines restored by hand to original working condition. See rare, private collections of vehicles and machinery.

Clareville Showgrounds is the location and the weather forecast is for mostly sunny weather. So, check out the volunteers section on the website. Come along and have a memorable experience with the team!
