๐โโ๏ธ We all happily go into a new job not knowing how to do all or some of it & we absolutely know we will learn what to do & do it. Why then do we find it so difficult to bet on our own ability to succeed working for ourselves ? Is it conditioning ? The recent pandemic & resulting lock-downs & the flow on effect of that has taught us jobs aren't necessarily secure or what is best for us.
๐ I feel like it's a great thing to have the opportunity to explore what we might really love to be doing. We turn to what we enjoy & we are blessed in this day & age with the internet - making it incredibly easy to sell our creations/products/services & generate income.
๐ฉโ๐ป There will be many who aren't sure of what kind of business they'd like to do. Again the internet is a great solution provider for there can be found advertised a multitude of different opportunities.
๐ฅ Dream Big New Zealand partners with a very special international media company that produces heartfelt, relatable Personal Development stories in various forms; short clips, interviews, movie length features. Stories of ordinary people faced with challenges who have created extraordinary results given their circumstances, sometimes Against All Odds.

Her Wellington flat was shared with two blokes and scented with a mix of Ecoya candles, incense and mould. She wasn't sad to leave it behind.

are you using the long weekend to tackle that long-over due reno? Or do you have a project you'd love to do in your home or garden but don't know where to start?
The experts at Resene are offering to help answer all your painting and decorating questions. Whether it's how to choose the right type of paint to cover a stain, how to go about planning a mural, or how long you really need to spend on sanding down that woodwork, they're happy to help.
Send us your question at homed@stuff.co.nz or leave it in the comments and we'll put the best questions to the Resene team (please note: we may not be able to answer every single question). The answers will be published in an article on Stuff ahead of the long weekend.
If you don't want us to use your comment or name on Stuff, please mention that in your post.

"Self-aware people are more fulfilled, creative and have better relationships. They are more confident and better communicators. They think more clearly and are emotionally more stable and reliable. They are better liked and more trusted; they are less likely to lie and cheat; they are more productive, perform better at work and make better leaders.
Put simply, self-awareness is the habit of paying attention to the way you think, feel, and behave.
In other words, itโs something you need to practice and develop intentionally by becoming gradually more aware of your inner world and learning to respond to the circumstances of life with awareness rather than helplessly reacting based on the past conditioning and emotionally afflictive states such as anger, fear and so on.
To do that we need to press pause and get curious about our inner workings.
