Passed away peacefully on April 4, 2023, aged 92 years. Loved wife of the late Geoffrey, dearly loved mother and mother-in-law of Carolyn and Alistair Gunn, and Jo and Robbie Rea. Treasured Gan of Alex, Ray and Tara, and Annie. Alison will be greatly missed by all that have known her. Sincere thanks to the staff of the Ashley Suites, Russley Village for their excellent care of Alison. A Memorial Service to celebrate Alison’s life will be held in our Westpark Chapel, 467 Wairakei Road, Burnside, on May 29, at 2.00pm. Of Palmerston North. Passed away peacefully at Ultimate Care Aroha Rest Home, on Sunday 2nd April 2023, aged 94 years. Dearly loved husband of the late Anita May Higgan. Adored father to Kevin, David, Sylvia and the late Ian, Murray and Arthur. Richard was a cherished grandfather and great-grandfather to all his grandchildren and he will be sorely missed. The family would like to thank the rest home care staff for their loving care of Richard during his stay with them. A private cremation has been held for the family. The memorial service to celebrate Richard’s life is to be held at Terracehaven Chapel, 697 Main Street, Palmerston North, on Tuesday 11th April, at 10.30am.
