Sadly, beautiful Peter has died at our home in Timaru. Peter was much loved by all who knew him, especially his wife of 52 years, Claire, and his step-siblings Pip, Mark, Robert and John. Appreciative thanks to the many carers who helped Peter with skilled kindness over the last five years. They came from the agencies of Nurse Maude, Presbyterian Support, Health Vision and Healthcare NZ. A private burial has taken place at Lake Tekapo Cemetery. Passed away peacefully at home on Friday 7th April surrounded by his family. Loved husband of the late Jean, Much loved Dad and adored mate of Pauline, Brenda and Bob, Susan and Craig. Cherished Poppa to Cole and Shelley, Scott and Jo, Tracy and David, Andrew and Tash, Alex, Ben, Jeremey, Eryn and Adam, and Alec. Loved Poppa Dave and Big Poppa to his 17 great-grandchildren. A big thank you to the district nurses who cared for David over the last two years. To the ladies from Kaitaia Hospice - we cannot thank you enough for your wonderul support. Peacefully at home on Sunday 2 April 2023, aged 59 years. The most wonderful loving wife of the late Greg. Best, loving, caring, kind, hardworking, helpful and thoughtful mother of Steve and Joanna. On Thursday, March 30, 2023, Allan passed away suddenly at home after a short illness, aged 85 years. Loved husband of Sue, and the late Dawn; much loved father of Julie, Stephen, Lisa and Gary, Hamish and Amanda; cherished grandfather of Nathan, Hugh, Lily, Oliver, and Harry; and great-grandfather of Brinn. Allan was farewelled at a small private memorial on Tuesday, April 4, 2023. The family would like to thank Lamb and Hayward for the care and compassion given to them while Allan was in their care.
