Loved mother and mother-in-law of David and Kay (Adelaide), Marilyn (Invercargill), the late Peter (Palmerston North), and Ian and Chantal (Timaru). On Tuesday 19th April 2023 at Bupa Riverstone Rest Home, Palmerston North, Barry peacefully passed away in the company of his family. Barry was born in Feilding, settled in Palmerston North and was well known in the community as a local magician and a keen bagpiper. Barry was a much-loved husband to Jenny for 66 years, and dad to Debbie, David and Andrew, and grandad to Laura and Natalie, and great-grandad to Ryker. A special thank you to all the staff at Bupa Residential Care Home for the special care and love that was shown to him there. A funeral for Barry will be held in the Terracehaven Chapel, 697 Main Street, Palmerston North, on Wednesday 26th April at 1.00pm. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated.
