THOMPSON, Jean Olive(nee Vincent)

Born to Elsie and Charlie Vincent on May 6, 1943, in Leighton Buzzard, UK. Loved sister of James. Dearly loved wife of Keith, mother of Peter, Michael, Hilary and Geoffrey, and adored grandmother of Elsie, Olive, Alice, Joel and Annie. Jean lived a full life as a kind, wise and patient wife, mother and grandmother. She was also a dedicated science lecturer and selfless community volunteer. A memorial for Jean will be held at the Veranda Function Centre, Hamilton Lake, on Sunday, June 4 at 1.00pm. All written communication to Mike Thompson, 14 Moselle St, Island Bay 6023, Wellington. In lieu of flowers, Jean’s family feel that a small donation to NZ Forest and Bird would be appreciated.

Passed away peacefully on Saturday the 22nd of April 2023 at Palmerston North Hospital, aged 82. Wife of Neville and Mother of Wayne, Brent and Kelvin. Much loved Nana of all 9 grandchildren and Great-Nana to three great grandchildren. In accordance with Margaret’s wishes, a private funeral service will be held.

Passed away peacefully on April 24, 2023, in her 90th year, at Ernest Rutherford Retirement Village, Nelson. Dearly loved wife of the late Graham. Dearly loved mum and mum-in-law of Michael and Margaret, Tony and Vicki (Nelson), and the late Vicky. Loved Nan of Vicky and Brendan Green, Lisa and William Fitchett (USA), Riley (Wellington), Josh and April (Nelson). Loved Great-Nan of Gracie and Roydon. On 26th April 2023, peacefully at Rita Angus Retirement Village, aged 99 years. Dearly loved husband of the late Ngaire. Loved father and father-in-law to Brian & Dianne and Gerald & Rhonda. Devoted grandfather and great-grandfather. Special thanks to the staff of Rita Angus Retirement Village for their care and support of Keith. Passed away tragically in Wellington on April 19, 2023, aged 25 years. Totally awesome son of Marg ‘Mags’ and Charles ‘Ken’, Favourite little brother of James ‘Jimmy’. Treasured Cuzzie of the Levings and Bowden families. Loved companion to Alfie his dog. Mr Levings, ‘Mr LEGEND’. Great mate to many and an all round top bloke. A celebration of Issac’s life will be held at St Thomas of Canterbury College, 67-69 Middlepark Road, Sockburn, on Saturday, April 29 at 10.00am. RIP.

Aged 87. Wera passed at his home in Wairau surrounded by the loving care of his whnau on April 27, 2023.
