SCHOLES, Eric William

On 28 April 2023, at Palmerston North Hospital, aged 90, formerly from Tauranga and Ngakuru. Dearly loved husband of the late Ileene, loved father and father-in-law of Cynthia and Mark Ward (Levin), Sonia and Craig Munro (Flat Bush Manukau). Loved granddad of Alex, Sophie, Otto, Benjamin and Nathanael. Loved brother-in-law of Elinor Elder, the late Winnie Ingram, Doreen Jenkins, and Patty Clow. The family would like to express their thanks and appreciation to Eric’s caregivers in Feilding for their friendship and devotion to his needs over a number of years. A service to celebrate Eric’s life, will be held at the Legacy Funerals Chapel, 383 Pyes Pa Road, Tauranga, at 10.30am on Saturday 6 May, followed by refreshments and burial. FOOTE, Reverend FatherKevin John

Loved and respected Priest of the Diocese of Christchurch for 47 years. Peacefully at Christchurch on Friday, April 28, 2023, aged 76 years. Son of Kevin and Melville Foote (both RIP). Loved brother and brother-in-law of Suzanne and Spencer, Barry (RIP) and Debbie, Rodney and Sandra (RIP), Carmel and Trevor, Pam and Jim, Terence and Joanne, and adored Uncle Donk to his 22 nieces and nephews, and their children and grandchildren. On Thursday, May 4 from 1.00-4.00pm Fr Kevin will be at the Te Rangimarie Maori Community Centre, 360 Gloucester St, for karakia and waiata. Rosary will be recited at St Mary’s Pro-Cathedral, 373 Manchester St, at 5.45pm. On Friday, May 5 at 1.30pm, the Requiem Mass for Fr Kevin will be celebrated at St Mary’s Pro-Cathedral, followed by burial at Memorial Park Cemetery, corner of Cypress St and Ruru Road.

Passed away peacefully on Friday 28th April 2023, at Hutt Hospital. Loved wife of the late David Tucker, and Sir Richard Bolt. Much loved Mum of Warren (deceased), Grant, and Andrea. Passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, April 29, 2023, aged 76 years, while fishing which he loved. Cherished husband of Lesley and treasured Pa to Dylan and Gabby, Aimee and Shaun, Brad and Philippa, Chrystal, Tiff and Dyl. Adored Grandpa of Jasmine, Charlise, Amelia-Roze, Kaylee, Carter, Tyler, Cody, Casey and Max. Dearly loved brother and brother-in-law of Cynthia and Russell, and Raewyn (Twin) and Les. Passed away suddenly at home in Temuka, on Saturday, April 29, 2023. Dearly loved daughter of John and the late Margaret. Loved sister and sister-in-law of Derek and Tania, and loved aunty “cup” of Haley. A cherished niece, loved dearly by all her uncles, aunties and cousins. A treasured and respected Timaru District Library Manager, and a member of Library NZ and Australasia. The Memorial Service celebrating Adele’s life will be held at Aoraki Funeral Services Chapel, 160 Mountain View Road, Timaru, on Thursday, May 4, 2023 at 11.00am, followed by a private cremation. CAMERON, Robert Joseph (Bob)

On April 29th 2023, Bob died peacefully aged 90 years. Loved father of Vivienne, husband of Margaret, grand- father of Cameron, Cliff and Dylan, brother of Jim, Pat and Judith, and a beloved member among the Karori Community. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Mary Potter Hospice and Cancer Foundation would be appreciated online or at the funeral. On April 30, 2023, after a short illness, Rosanne died peacefully in Christchurch, aged 70 years. Deeply loved daughter of the late Noel and Patricia. Loved sister to Genevieve, Lucia, Juliet, Max, Bryan, Gregory, Phillip, Roger, Alistair, and to her extended whanau across NZ, Australia, and France. The family would like to thank all the staff at Nurse Maude Hospice and Chatswood Rest Home for their care in her final days. Of Palmerston North. Rob died at home on Saturday morning, 29th April, aged 67. He was so loved by his partner Colleen Stanaway, his daughters Wendy Watson, Nicola Wysocki, and Tracey Johns and their husbands Dom, Allan and Allan, his stepsons Chris Thompson and partner Anna Tate, and Evan Thompson, his grandchildren Josh, Brodie and Deanna, Nakita and George, and Kayden, Dylan and Maya, Keira and Bailey, and Pippa.
