HEENAN, Heather Anne (nee Blakie)

It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our dear mother and grandmother at Christchurch Hospital, on Tuesday, April 18, 2023, aged 85 years. Beloved younger daughter of the late Wilson and Vera Blakie, Invercargill. Loved sister of Edna and the late Athol Blakie, and Val and the late Bryon Affleck. Dearly loved wife of the late Robert (Bob). Devoted and loving mother and mother-in-law of Peter and Dee (Invercargill), John and Rachel (Christchurch). Precious grandma of Tom, Edward, Lucy and George; Phoebe, Esther, Rose and Grace, and loved great-grandmother of Patrick and Lenny. A private family service has been held. The family sincerely thank the staff at Lady Wigram Retirement Village and the staff at Christchurch Hospital for the compassionate care given to Heather.
