I would sincerely like to thank the lovely young man who helped my son carry me to the car of a lovely woman who lived not far away. I was able to sit in the front seat until my husband came with our car and took me to hospital.
Unfortunately I broke my leg and needed surgery but am on the mend now. Sadly Christmas didnt happen for us this year. It was heartening (even in my state of PAIN) to hear so many stop to help. Thank you so much

The thing that stuck out for me, though, were their names: Bernie and Dorothy, and Betty and Delilah. We figured they'd been named after family members, or Mum has a love for old-fashioned names. But it got me to thinking - do you have an unusual name? Where did it come from? Has it been a blessing or a curse? My brother (Kylee) tried to buy my name off me when we were teenagers, but he's now settled into his moniker. Of course, it gets a little confusing sometimes, with his partner named Kylie...
