My name is Hadley Anderson and I', a student at the University of Canterbury studying towards a MSc in Applied Psychology. I am currently looking for participants who work 20+ hours a week to participate in a survey looking at potential differences between same-sex and mixed-sex partners in areas of work-family conflict and perceptions of life satisfaction. This research is part of an international study as well as a unique area of work-family research. If you currently work 20+hours a week I would hugely appreciate if you could take the time to look at my survey and contribute to this unique and important area of research for everybody's work life wellbeing. If you would like to participate, please click on the following link:

If you have a partner that also works 20+ hours a week, feel free to pass the survey link onto them. Thank you for your consideration, and if you have any questions feel free to contact me at hadley.anderson@pg.canterbury.ac.nz

This Sunday, Gillian Brown, will be taking the final message in our series, God’s Answer to Anxiety. She'll be speaking on 'Fear not! God loves & forgives!' God’s love and his forgiveness go hand in hand. If he didn’t love us so much he wouldn’t have sent Jesus to us. Join us this Sunday to find out why that's so important! You can also check out our website to hear earlier messages in this series - www.activatechurchchristchurch.com....
Our Sunday gathering starts 10.30am every week, coffee is hot from 10.15! We'd love for you to join us!

We're looking into ways we can all keep these costs down for a story on Homed and would love to hear from you if you have particularly large or small bills.
Do your power bills come in way higher than your friends and family? Do you know why, or does the amount always take you by surprise? Maybe, like the family who created an effective solar panel heater out of drink cans, or the blogger who enjoys free power generated by a converted washing machine, you've found a creative way to minimise your bills. If so, how do you do it?
Whether your bills are high and you're looking for ways to reduce them, or you have some secrets to low power bills that you're willing to share, we'd love to hear from you. Email homed@stuff.co.nz and one of our reporters will be in touch.

We have the latest offerings in everything you could imagine, and a huge space! Recently, a large selection of new mattresses arrived at the Brighton Mall showroom. If you thought getting a new, super snugly warm mattress was going to cost the earth, think again! Our single inner-sprung mattresses start at $99.
Surrounding them are a variety of the latest Steiner chairs, heavy wooden drawers, industrial and rustic tables and minimalist items in the Scandinavian style. Subtle hues and bursts of colour reflect global trends and boutique tastes.
“Our whole philosophy is to keep overheads down so people can get the same items that are in a higher-end store, but cheaper.”
Come in and enjoy... you’ll be so glad you did.
