The NZ BIKE EXPO is coming this weekend!

The feature event of Biketober Chch this coming week has to be the 2nd NZ Bike Expo, being held at Wigram Airforce Museum next Sat 13th and Sun 14th Oct. Are you looking for a new bike or some biking gear? Perhaps you want to find out about the new cycleways or cycle touring or e-bikes? With a huge array of exhibitors, demonstrations and other fun activities, there is literally something for every kind of biking fan (or would-be fan).

Open from 10am to 5pm each day, just $10 for adults. Check out the website for more details - nzbikeexpo.nz.... There are even guided bike rides to the Expo from town on both days if you want to avoid the hassle of finding a carpark.

Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?

With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.

This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.
