What veges do you grow in pots and containers?
Our gardens are getting smaller, so NZ Gardener wants to come up with some suggestions for edible crops that do well in pots and small spaces! Suggest the crops that have done well for you (ideally specify a variety) and tell other keen gardeners how you grew them, how they performed for you, and any practical advice you would pass on to ensure a great result with that crop, and any secret tips you are prepared to pass on! Christmas Cottage open home..

Our Beckenham cottage has been decorated tip to toe in the spirit of Christmas.
All funds raised go to the children’s charity “Good night sleep tight”.
Just $5.00 for adults, children are free.
We are open this weekend Sat 7th and Sun 8th from 10am - 4pm.

Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?
With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.
This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.
