If you have problems with services or products, you may be protected by the CGA. You should expect services to be carried out with appropriate competency and skills, and completed to a reasonable standard.

For example, Jan had two painters provide quotes for some painting and wallpaper work. She chose her painter and the work was completed. Two weeks later she noticed bumps and lumps in the wallpaper, that she hadn’t noticed at the time the bill was paid.

With a faulty product, you can return it and ask for a repair, replacement or refund. But that’s not so easy with a service! But Jan’s story ended well, the painter came back and rectified the problem at no cost to Jan.

It is a receipt for a 1913 Old Hebrew Bible, which has been billed to a store credit card for $75. I do not know of this order, this store, and have no store card with this organisation. There is a section at the end which asks if I have issues with the transaction, Tells me to click on the 'link below' in order to get a full refund. There is an order number, receipt number, and they appear to use Spark as their provider......
I have a lovely New King James Bible (well worn now), and would never have ordered a Hebrew Bible.
Has anyone else received such an e-mail, and what is an e-mail address for the Police where I can forward this e-mail to them.

Is there no end to the scams these people will try, trouble is that this time it is a Spark NZ address...........
