Both my kids school uniforms need mending yet I don’t have a sewing machine. I could do by hand yet would only take a few minutes to whiz up on machine for a longer lasting result. If someone would be happy to do a quick simple fix for me or I’d be happy to do it on your machine please.

The scarecrow was made by the year 1, 5 and 6 year olds. Imagine how happy they will be if they win and are voted the best scarecrow in New Zealand. The Scarecrow is called Bamford The Scarecrow. Thank you for your support.

Apparently Council cannot tell truckies what roads they cannot use and cannot put No Heavy truck signs up to stop this. We live on Breezes Road Avondale and there has been a steady influx of trucks past our house over the last few months. Our house rattles and everything in cupboards etc shake , rattle, and roll. Our doors in our house are starting to stick which means they are damaging the house. All i have had from Council is oh we will send someone out to check vibrations. It is because he roads have not been fixed adequately and it seems Council dosnt care. In the Community profile for the Avondale/Dallington area dated Nov 2014 it states The focus is repair of the fresh water and storm water systems and roads. That is four years ago and nothing has been done. We pay our rates but have no promised work done and it seems Council have no clout to stop these trucks. So i ask what is the answer??
