Submit your entry in the very first Resene Upcycling Awards by sharing your upcycled masterpiece with your neighbours. It's going to be a big job taking all the tonnes of sludge away from the Woolston cut ,also showing us ,what rubbish has been thrown in ,but hopefully it will make a difference to the flow.

Risingholme Singers (Christchurch) are seeking the services of a new Music Director, to take up this position with immediate effect, for which an Honorarium will be paid.
This is a mixed Community Choir (SATB), which was established in 1947, and is a friendly, enthusiastic group of some 30 members.
The choir performs a wide-ranging repertoire at two or three concerts annually. Past performances include “The Messiah” Part Two, with strings and guest artists; semi-staged versions of “Pirates of Penzance”; “The Mikado”; and extracts from shows such as “Fiddler on the Roof”.
Rehearsals are held in the Opawa Baptist Church lounge on Monday evenings, during school terms, from 7.30 – 9.30 p.m.
