Road closure in Addington, Queen’s Birthday Weekend

Whiteleigh Avenue in Addington will be closed for a critical railway upgrade from 6:00am Saturday 2 June to 6:00am Tuesday 5 June. KiwiRail has contracted Fulton Hogan to carry out 24 hour work.

Motorists are asked to avoid Addington and detour through Curletts Road where possible. Further … View more

Motorists are asked to avoid Addington and detour through Curletts Road where possible. Further detours that avoid Whiteleigh Avenue will be in place. Tower Junction Mega Centre can be entered via Blenheim Road or via Princess Street. Horncastle Arena will be accessible from Wrights Road.
