Biketober Chch Week 1: Pedal into Spring!

The first weekend cranks it up with "Pedal into Spring" on Saturday afternoon (6th) - come along to Rauora Park from 12.30pm, bring a friend or family and then choose how you want to explore town by bike. Visit the shops? Hunt down the street art? Something for the kids? There's a dozen different rides to choose from!

And if that's not enough, this weekend also sees a Build-a-bike-trailer workshop, Heathcote Express cycleway ride, social MTB rides, Meet in the Middle along the Avon-Otakaro, Women's Suffrage Ride, and much more! Don't forget too to pick a Biketober Passport and visit some of the 40 businesses for discounts and prizes. From working with orphans in Nepal, to diving in Mexico; working with the elephants in Thailand, refugees in Greece, to big cats in Africa, we have projects that are really making a difference.

Anyone over 18 can do a project with Go Kiwi Go, our oldest participant so far has been 75! But don’t take our word for it, check out our blog page!
