Hi. Couple of years ago viewed cargo bikes in his garage in Casebrook. Man was converting them from ordinary cycles to cargo ebikes. I'd like to contact him. Could be Cavendish Rd. Anybody know who this is?

Toxic algae grows on the bottom of riverbeds and appears as thick dark brown or black mats that have a slimy or velvety texture and musty smell.
These mats can come loose and wash up on the edge of the rivers, or form ‘floating rafts’ in shallow areas. As they dry out, they turn light brown or white and look like dried leaves or cowpats.
If you are in any doubt, keep your whānau and animals away from the river.

I have seen them out and about but not sure how to find out where to join them - would anyone know of any social biking groups for seniors in and around the Bishopdale and surrounding areas? I can go by myself for a ride, but it would be nice to go along with a group of people.

I've had an eating problem as long as I can remember. I would steal food, and money to get food. I was ashamed and had no idea why I did it. As a teenager, I didn't want to be overweight, so I tried to eat healthily at first and then tried to eat as little as possible. I also exercised to control my weight. All these things stopped working by the time I was twenty-one years old.
The constant thinking about food and losing weight made me ring for help from a Twelve Step recovery group. I found people that I knew had a solution for me. I tackled the programme – meetings, a food plan, the Steps, a sponsor and service – through hard work and trying to do it perfectly.
